“It was really good! You’re not allowed to take pictures in some of the rooms but still worth a visit”

“I arrived at about 18:30 as my ticket stated between 18:00 & 20:00. The place was dead. Just a few blokes milling about who were friends of staff. The ticket said included ‘alcoholic drinkS & DINNER’ this turned out to be two small bottles of mediocre beer and two bite sized chicken ‘things’ see picture’. By 20:00 another two small groups of people came in but I left. I suspect if it gets more visitors, probably after 22:00 then the atmosphere may improve. The decor was stunning but without any ‘party goers’ it was somewhat superfluous . Drinks, if you wanted more were quite expensive and after observing some cocktails…”

“We went on this tour to understand the culture of bullfighting without actually going to a bullfight. We felt as though our guide was very good in representing a different aspect of the art of bullfighting and how it fit into the history of Spain.”

“We had a great tour with Johann at the Madrid bullring. We had very little prior knowledge of bullfighting in Spain and he provided a wonderful background on the historical aspects through modern day. Would definitely recommend if you're looking to learn more about this cultural aspect of Spain. One warning--the reality of bullfighting is fairly graphic for both the human and animal participants, if that is unsettling or objectionable to you, maybe skip this one :)”

The car and the driver never came, the guide paid the taxies, but this is not the service i bought, and all taxies were casual so very uncofortable for three adults plus the guide. this is not a service this looks like a fraud”

Since he had a driver this time we thought ok he got the review and realized he needed a driver. We went to gardens and the palace and it was great. “We never got to experience the tour. The tour guide Ignacio was rude and disrespectful to us and the hotel concierge. He cancelled the tour 15 minutes before pick up. He had the tickets for the Prado & the Royal Palace. He Totally ruined our day. It was a disaster. Viator told us to go to the Royal Palace and use the voucher. We stood on line for an hour and they told us the guide had the tickets. We had to buy tickets again and do the tour ourselves. The local tour operator Sr. Lobo studio s.l. lied and said they came on time to the hotel. We waited…”

“Ignacio texted us personally the day before to confirm our tour. He then warmly met us in front of the Goya statue and we proceeded to immediately enter the PRADO. Moving from room to room he knew exactly which paintings he needed to show us to give us a good oversight. He patiently explained the meanings and symbolism to help us understand each painting as well as the historical background. Needless to say we very much enjoyed the tour and learnt a great deal not possible without Ignacio’s explanations. We highly recommend this tour and especially the time to be spent with Ignacio. It is well worth it.”

“El Escorial is amazing. There are beautiful paintings inside, especially the library. There are many stairs, but it is definitely worth it! We were unable to see the basilica due to a mass in progress.The surrounding landscape is breathtaking and the village has a fun vibe.”
